OPEN ADOPTION CONCEPT OF
FLEECED®-ON SYSTEM
The Fleeced®-On System, particularly the Fleeced®-On Aliphatic PU System and Fleeced®-On Bitumen Series, represents our advancement and continuing development of a proprietary multilayer waterproofing assembly architecture.

Rather than relying on a standalone waterproofing material, Fleeced®-On integrates multiple functional components within a defined assembly architecture developed to support more predictable performance, improved durability, easier maintenance and continuous improvement.

The architecture is made accessible through bundle packaging under our Open Adoption Approach.
1. OPEN TO ADOPTION. BUILT FOR MASTERY
Open Adoption makes the Fleeced®-On architecture accessible for users to independently study, assess, test, practise and adopt.

Access to the architecture does not itself create knowledge, competency or mastery.

Practical understanding develops through practice, trial and error, observation, correction, polishing of technique and experience, together with an understanding of the system's behaviour, limitations, suitability and realistic expectations across different projects and environmental conditions.

We make the architecture accessible.

Mastery develops through practice.
2. POSITIVE-SIDE BY PURPOSE
The Fleeced®-On System is developed as a positive-side waterproofing architecture, primarily for:
-
Rain
-
UV
-
Crackline resistance

It is not designed or intended to extend into negative-side waterproofing performance.

Any development against negative-side factors is secondary, intended only to support the endurance and survivability of the positive-side waterproofing blanket.
3. ADVANCEMENT, NOT PERFECTION
Fleeced®-On represents an advancement in waterproofing assembly architecture — not a promise of perfection.

Users should maintain realistic expectations and recognise that different projects, substrates, workmanship, site conditions and environmental factors may produce different experiences and outcomes.

It is the users' own practical experience, observation, identification of limitations and developing understanding, together with material advancement, that contribute towards better application and further refinement of the architecture.

The objective is continuous advancement towards better predictability, durability, maintainability and endurance — not a promise of absolute or universal perfection.
4. ADOPTION REQUIRES UNDERSTANDING
Open Adoption should not be understood simply as “buy and apply.”

Users are expected to independently develop their understanding through:
-
Study
-
Assessment
-
Testing
-
Practice
-
Trial & Error
-
Observation
-
Correction
-
Understanding of Behaviour
-
Recognition of Limitations
-
Suitability Assessment
-
Responsible Improvisation
-
Realistic Expectations
-
Progressive Mastery

Different projects, substrates, workmanship and environmental conditions involve different variables. Users remain responsible for their own assessment, application decisions and determination of suitability.
5. OPEN ADOPTION HAS BOUNDARIES
Open Adoption makes the Fleeced®-On architecture accessible for independent adoption. It does not make its intellectual property, brand, identity or representations open for unrestricted use, rebranding or commercial association.
Acquiring all, substantially similar or similar components used within the Fleeced®-On System does not provide a basis to rename or rebrand another system and associate that system's performance, quality, capability, warranty, guarantee or other performance obligations with Fleeced®-On.
Fleeced®-On Open Adoption itself does not promise any universal quantifiable or measurable performance metric, guaranteed service life, performance threshold or project outcome. Such performance attributes or obligations must therefore not be created by another party and represented as associated with, supported by or derived from Fleeced®-On.
Open Adoption also does not itself constitute project-specific design, specification, suitability determination, approval, certification, warranty, guarantee, undertaking or representative authority.
6. BEFORE YOU ADOPT
FLEECED®-ON SHOULD NOT BE ADOPTED WITHOUT FIRST UNDERSTANDING ITS OPEN ADOPTION PRINCIPLES, LIMITATIONS & PROHIBITIONS.

Open Adoption provides access to an architecture, but its adoption carries corresponding responsibilities and boundaries.

Users must refer to and understand the separate:

LEGAL NOTES — GOVERNING OPEN ADOPTION

The Legal Notes address independent adoption, non-reliance, no undertaking or assumptions, design and specification, warranties and guarantees, modification, third-party representations, rebranding and false association, intellectual property, brand usage and prohibited conduct.

They should be read and understood before adoption or use of the Fleeced®-On System.
